MISSOSOLOGY

Not pageant related but just would like to thank Indonesia/ns in general.

Lost my wallet last Wednesday night at the parking area opposite the hotel where I stay here in Brunei. A couple of Brunei dollars, my important Ids and cards, both Bruneian and Filipino cards and Ids were inside it.

I was not concerned about the money but the cards/ Ids. The following day I reported it to the police so they could give me a police statement that would enable me to renew my Bruniean Ids and cards. But my only worry was about my Philipine Ids/ cards.

My profile is written at my Bruneian IC, the place where I work and the contact number. This town is so tiny its easy to go to my workstation. Thursday and Friday passed, nothing was happening. No one called the school. Was beginning to lose hope. Again, my concern was about my Philippine Ids' cards.

But then today, two men came to the school. One Indonesian man and a Chinese guy. According to the Indonesian man, he found my wallet, he could hardly speak English and is new in Brunei, he had to wait for his Chinese employer to arrive from The Philippines as he was travelling for business. Both of them came and returned my wallet. Everything is in there.

Such honesty is admirable.

A HUGE thank you goes to Indonesia/ns. His simple act renewed my belief that nice people still exist and he carries his flag by doing so.

Nice Indonesians I guess are like Filipinos, majority has good characteristics, I can see those traits in Eat Bulaga Indonesia :=p

Hey Tom! Been a long time we have not exchanged posts eh? 2008 era? :-D

Unfortunately not Tom as they were rushing going to work and I was teaching when they came I could not think of anything because I was really surprised. But will treat dinner on Monday the Indonesian man.
