While some countries already rose up from the COVID pandemic, others still struggled over the new mutating variants that caused the all time high number of cases in several countries despite vaccines already rolled out around the world. In your opinion, which is the best way to hold a pageant? Virtually, Physically or to cancel again?

The show had ended. It's time to face the Covid situation. It's not always beauty pageant that we need to care about.

It really depends on the Covid status of the host country at the time of the pageant. At the end of the day, the safety of contestants are of paramount importance.
In the case of Miss Universe, we are told that the majority of American adults who want to receive the vaccine should have it by the end of May so holding the pageant at the end of that month should be doable.
For Miss Earth, unless the Covid situation in the Philippines is under control by October of this year, I’m afraid we might have to witness another virtual edition unless another country that’s got the virus well under control offers to host.

The problem in the Philippines right now is the number of cases daily is even higher than last year. I really hope this year's Miss Earth is live (in-person) but if the bad situation in the Philippines continues...I am afraid Carousel will resort to the same scenario before. I just hope it will be held in another country like USA perhaps. I hope Laura reaches out to Carousel and bring Miss Earth to Orlando instead.
