Monica Fransisca Khonado, a civil engineering graduate who's working as a TV news journalist that is passionate to help decrease the global warming, which is the roots of most environmental issues. She would like to tackle it by working together with the residents and also the government. She has indirectly started her campaign on environmental issues since years ago through her news scripts and reports, gathering information and opinions from her interviews with the people and government.

Now, she has take another steps by joining the Miss Earth Indonesia 2020.Monica will focus on increasing green open spaces to help reduce global warming, and good waste management to help reduce waste production and prevent waste to pollute the ocean, soil, and the health quality of the people.

Monica herself can't save the earth, but together, we can !Would you join me on this project of preserving our environment ?

It's really a surprising moment to be crowned as Miss Earth Indonesia 2020. I will do my best with this new responsibility I carried, for the people, and of course for the earth. The earth is not only a destination, but it's our home ! Yours and mine.

Thank you for my family, friends, Lazzaro team, @missearthindonesia @eljohn.pageants @johnnie_sugiarto , all the judges, my queen @cinthiakarani , the team who made the event be done successfully especially @bgszck, all pageant lovers, and everyone who supported me this far, never could I imagine this journey without all of you. To all the 24 other finalist, I'm not the only one who won the competition, but all of us won it already even before the coronation night ! I love you girls.
