IN THE PHILIPPINES, GIRLS ARE STILL CHEATING SNEAKING TO PUT ON MAKE-UP.

I've read here also that they are given wipes or tissues before the beauty of face preliminary to wipes of course whatever they have put in the fair. But powder is allowed?

Actually there were girls with no makeup
Powder is probably allowed because it doesn't change your face, it just makes it matt

I remember reading here that ever since ME started to publicly broadcast the "Beauty of Face" prejudging, they allowed the application of minimal makeup like light powder, gloss, eyebrows, etc.

Perhaps the org. needs to review these and set certain standards to ensure uniformity. Or else, disallow makeup altogether (though that would be tricky to manage with the current digital format).

I’m pretty sure the NDs and the women receive instructions on how to prepare for the Beauty of Face.

There was a time when absolutely no make up can be used but somewhere along the way, the women were allowed to use light facial powder and lip gloss from what we’re told. Anything else, including the use of contact lenses, is not allowed. Not sure what the exact punishment is but there are speculations that point deductions are given. And every deduction can mean the difference between a placement or not.

Perhaps one of the Earth fan sites can clarify this issue with former Miss Earth delegates when they interview them.

She's very modelesque and usually, the Russian org. does a pretty good job of transforming their girls into pageant queens come the next ME season let's see how Albina's journey would do. Congratulations to all!

She is our third delegate for 2021. The earliest was Malaysia followed by Greece. Let’s see if these early birds are still around right when Miss Earth 2021 starts.

OMG can't believe I have an official bet already for 2021. We better have a LIVE show next year.

Beauty of Face - Asia and Oceania:

Philippines - tops the list with such a refreshing face and projection.

Many are facially beautiful in this region but completing my Top 5 are those without obvious thick makeup:

Myanmar - sultry beauty
Japan - cute and adorable
Northern Marianas - beach babe vibe
Vietnam - youthful fresh face

*Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Syria were gorgeous but have obvious make up on, it is not fair to judge them with girls who submitted minimal or bare face

I like your choices but I cant really tell if one has make up or not, but the eye make-up of some are very visible. I have to rewatch it later on to double check. Overall, this batch is beautiful. Philippines is a stand-out. What a very refreshing beauty! She is sooooooo beautiful. What happened to China? What did she put to her face? I think, they were not following the instructions.

They had full on make up manoy, some more than others, eyeshadows and contouring galore! China is pretty but lacks projection, and not as fresh-face as compare to Japan or Vietnam, won't discount her out yet though.

Can you tell me who have make up and who have none so that I can update my list.

To be fair, most of them might have light make up on. Concealers and nude lipstick should be fine. But Pakistan and Syria, to some extent Sri Lanka and Lebanon appear to have full make up on, or it could be facial tattoos that is quite a fad with some girls in these countries.

The eyebrows I am thinking are microblading/semi permanent tattoos--are those allowed?

Eyebrows are allowed, very loose powder and some liptint (not lipstick) are allowed. But aside from that, the rest aren’t allowed

I think it was Cathy Untalan who instructed the delegates before to wipe their face during the no make up judging but since the Beauty of Face stared to be livestreamed they allow the delegates to use powder and fix their eyebrows.

I had a difficult time judging Asia Oceania because I agree with most everyone that some of the women appeared to have used more make up than allowed. But make up is something I have very little knowledge of so that made it that much harder.

Anyway, my top six are (in alphabetical order): China, India, Japan, Lebanon, Myanmar, and Philippines.

SILVER - Austria (i don't know why you didn't notice her)

Lots of gorgeous gals in the European group. My scores were very close. No wonder Europe does so well in Miss Earth.

For Europe, I chose a top 8 since it has the most delegates at 28. In alphabetical order: Belarus, Bosnia, Estonia, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, and United Kingdom.
