She could win if Lady Luck is on her side.

Miss Earth tends to favor confident women with the gift of gab due to its challenging hashtag (we’re told it’s earth talk this year) and final Q&A segments. This year, there are so many women, amongst them fan favorites, who possess these qualities. Celeste is a bit lacking in this department IMHO. So I can see her winning... only if the others falter as we’ve witnessed last year when Karen won over the heavy favorites.

For me.. she is deserving for an elemental crown.

Many would be dismayed and lose their trust in ME org.

Hoping that they give chance toblack delegates..

ND must send super gorgeous and smart black delegates.

In my opinion, yes.

But then again, other girls came to win too. So let us not forget that these are wonderful set of girls who can actually bring home the crown for their country. Very competitive batch.

Philippines has a chance to win ME 2018, just like any other candidates.
No one has the right to deprive her rights in the competition just because Philippines won last year.

Follow ME closely, (not just this site) you will know why PH previous winners deserved their won.

Time and again, this has been the battle cry of the ME detractors and whiners all along. But after 17 years, look at where ME is now. To dispel the doubt, the ME crown should not be given just for it's own sake. The ultimate winner has to work extra hard and prove her worth before she can claim the crown as her own. Leave the judging panel to do its own task. They have a bigger responsibility than all of us combined.

That doesn’t matter, if you worked hard for it and DELIVERED where it matters, the whole world will see your worth even if the judges came from Mars. So stop the Filipino bias theory.

Miss Universe has an all american judges almost yearly, Miss International has an all Japanese board. But no one complains?

Miss Earth has an independent auditing firm akin to Miss Universe but no one recognizes that

Miss Earth is the most transparent of the big four when it comes to criteria so puhlease quit the biased theory

Filipina girls are placing IN ALL pageants because they train like ATHLETES. PERIOD

We'll review if the Philippines is deserving to win

Beauty and Poise - super check! super gorgeous
Figure and Form - check na check! she is a performer with that pageant ready body
Intelligence - the girl delivers and she is not dumb although not on thesame level of Karen

She is deserving but we want another girl to win. Get nervous if Trinidad and Tobago, Nepal and Indonesia will enter top 8 because it will be a walk in the park for them if they had a chance to hold the microphone. [-X [-X [-X

Pls NOOOO not this year give other first timer countries to Win the Crown. if they allow it to have a back to back to back to back win, this will be the end of miss earth. maybe in the next 2 years pls.. give others a chance naman so that miss earth will be more known in other countries 4 winners are enough at this time

Re: Does PH deserve to win ME 18?

I would be happy if she makes it to the top 8 because she is quite a strong delegate. However, she may not make it to the top 4, but she is an amazing delegate of the host country.
I didn't know I was looking for love until I found you, Babe!

Get actual judges from the fashion industry and reputable organizations. There will be no nepotism in Miss Universe, Miss Earth or Miss World, International. It's quite pathetic that beauty pageants, even the big ones are dependent on business rather than having the right to be celebrated annually. I think Miss World and Miss Earth should be subsidized because they truly celebrate women from around the world and provide them with opportunities through the platform. I know Miss Earth needs a lot of work but the advocacy is very clear.

BUT AGAIN, HOW MANY PINOYS ARE PRESENT IN THE JUDGING PANEL THIS YEAR? ANYONE KNOWS? FOR FAIR JUDGEMENT, THIS NEEDS TO BE CONSIDERED :)>-

AND WHEN I CHECKED NOW, THERE WERE 6 PINOYS IN THE PANEL LAST YEAR. I DID NOT KNOW THAT EARLIER AND I AM SURPRISED NO ONE HERE SEEMS TO BE TALKING ABOUT IT :)>- :)>- :)>-

That doesn’t matter, if you worked hard for it and DELIVERED where it matters, the whole world will see your worth even if the judges came from Mars. So stop the Filipino bias theory.

Miss Univers has an all american judges almost yearly, Miss International has an all Japanese board.

PERIOD

I DON'T HAVE ANY ISSUE WITH PHILIPPINES WINNING...BUT, WHEN I SEE PR AND INDONESIA BEING RIDICULED FOR THEIR WINS JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE ONE REP FROM THEIR NATION IN THE PANEL OF JUDGES, I HOPE YOU PROVIDE THE SAME EXPLANATION :)>- :)>- :)>- PEACE :-*

The one panel you were saying was their National Director fyi. If Stella Araneta will sit as a judge in Miss Universe while Catriona competes, other fans will go ballistic for sure.

ARE YOU SAYING Wilnelia Merced IS THE NATIONAL DIRECTOR OF MW PR? JUST ASKING..I DON'T KNOW :-* :)>-

ND of MW Indonesia, and the girl was second runner-up. Less pretty than Karen and definitely not on thesame level of intelligence compare to catriona.

OK GOT IT..THANKS :-*

Not even in the same level of intelligence as Karen Ibasco. Fumbled in the Q and A but won second princess! Yuck! Just because her national director is in the panel and the mahor sponsor is Indonesia! Never delivered when it mattered! That’s bias

If Ms Earth judges last year barred USA, Netherlands and even USA to the top 4.. why cant they to Philippines?

However i want Philippines to win again this year and let us see how the people react to this.. imagine 4 crowns in just 5 years.. just missed 1 year which was 2016 due to bad attitude. Let's get it on! It will be a big news in the whole world and maybe a Guiness Record! Since mostly pinoys wants Celeste to win then give it to Philippines regardless of other deserving girls. Anyways, the judges including the org can block girls getting into the top 4 who they feel that will treathened Celeste chances. Afterall as Lorraine Shuck said Ms Earth is a Pinoy pride. =0
