I thought there were four Asians in the Top 5. Congratulations, Philippines!
Why was Venezuela in the Top 5??? She was horrible in her EG.
Brazil was baklang bakla. No wonder she made that high. She was like a drunk lady in the EG.
Mongolia and Thailand were in their EG presentations. I like how Thailand descended on the stairs. Classy.
Kazakhstan was a beauty!!!
Bangladesh: is she a even a woman??? Costa Rica's gown fit her like a glove. For me, it was the most eye-catching gown in the top 20 along with Miss Uruguay and Philippines.
Colombia was FAT along with the lone black girl!!!
A lot of the candidates in the Top 20 are Asian-looking.

I still don't understand why there are countries that are outside Asia and the Pacific! I feel like the pageant was much more prestigious when it was exclusive to these regions.

I second that! The title became a joke when they added ‘International’ in it.
That was the reason why Carousel let it go and created Miss Earth, so they could go global.

MINUTES BEFORE YOU POSTED, I WAS WRITING THE SAME ADDITION OF WORD INTERNATIONAL. BUT I DID NOT CLICK SUBMIT. IS CAROUSEL STILL INVOLVED WITH MAPI?

Not anymore. Since 2001, the year they created Miss Earth, MAPI (which was still MAP Quest) that time was under the hands of another org MAPQ. I think Renee Salud is one of the owners.
In Miss Asia Pacific 2000 finals, Carousel announced that the following year, they would go global via Miss Earth. It was good that Rene Salud, his team and GMA continued Miss Asia Pacific. But it became nonsense when they added ‘International’ in its name back in 2004.
