What's your point then? You're thinking like a REAL THIRD WORLD citizen. People living in an affluent countries don't think the way you think but rather thinking how to get rid of poverty. Don't celebrate yet, there are still millions of Thai stricken with poverty like the other countries. So please instead of thinking you're ahead of the others, try to look at your front.......................you are also behind than the other countries.

But Vietnam needs to uplift its infrastructure. Been there and it needs catching up with the rest of ASEAN

Calm down honey. No need to be so insecure and hurt that you have to drag Vietnam down to the bottom of ASEAN just to make yourself feel better. Obviously, Vietnam in recent years has not been at the bottom of ASEAN. I myself was surprised too when they placed Vietnam above the Philippines. The country literally had nothing after the war and has been run by the communist party. However, it seems the Vietnamese communists have been doing a better job than your sacred country’s government. Vietnam nowadays even has a higher Human Development Index than the Philippines and ranks higher than the Philippines in terms of quality of life. It’s good to be patriotic but you should refrain yourself from being delusional

But in the world of pageantry, will our neighbors especially Thais accept the FACT that we are ahead of them? I do not know.

What is your measurement on economy to claim such? GDP-wise we are now ahead of Singapore and Malaysia which puts us at No. 3 in SEA next to Indonesia and Thailand. Per capita would be a different matter.
Pageantry, yes, we are miles ahead. THAT'S A FACT! A Singaporean classmate of mine acknowledged this.

The Philippines GDP figure is decent but with 105million in population, this drags us down, way down
So start educating the poor to stop fucking.
Im certain we scored low on Human Rights as well!
Still our economy is growing fast for the last consecutive 6 years. If this trend goes on for the next ten years
The Philippines will become a middle income country like Brazil.
Thailand, Malaysia, are ahead of us marginally.
Vietnam is growing as well but we are still ahead of them economic wise(GDP figure)
India’s economy is massive but they have the same problem with Phils. Overpopulation. 1.3 billion geez!
Imagine the poverty.
Notice the relationship between GDP and Poplulation kaya again
Freaking mahihirap should stop fucking
