DA NANG CITY, Vietnam - Huong Thao Lai (Lại Hương Thảo) (20, 167.5 m, Quang Ninh) was crowned Miss Sport Vietnam 2012 at Ba Na Hills in Da Nang City on August 5. She will represent Vietnam in Miss Supranational 2012 next September.

Ha Giang Duong (Dương Thị Hà Giang) was the first runner-up and Chuong Giang (Giàng Thị Chưởng) was the second runner-up.

well now she's competing in a beauty pageant for a country which makes here a beauty queen. Like I said, she has an average face. I've seen alot of Viet girls here in the States that has a prettier face.. I don't see her placing but eh...it's just mah opinion dude

I SEE LSU1 BUT VIETNAM DID VERY WELL IN MISS SUPRANATIONAL.. UNLIKE IN MISS INTERNATIONAL, WHERE WE SENT STRONG CONTESTANTS EVERY YEAR BUT MOST OF THEM WENT BACK UNPLACED..

WE ONLY PARTICIPATED 2 TIMES IN MISS SUPRANATIONAL BUT IN 2009, CHUNG THUC QUYEN WON TOP 15, BEST NATIONAL COSTUME, MISS INTERNET AND IN 2011, DANIELA NGUYEN THU MAY WON 3RD RUNNER UP.. I HOPE WE'LL HAVE A GOOD RESULT THIS YEAR TOO..
