I was just in the PH the past week would you believe! Internet in my cousin's place is good at 50mbps but when you go out, LTE is so fucking slow. And Starbucks for the love of god is not freaking free wow! Meanwhile, in the US, I have a 200mbps internet from Spectrum and LTE is 50mbps from AT&T, I mentioned the US because it is considered also as behind some East Asian countries in internet speed but look at the difference! AND STARBUCKS wifi IS FREE EVERYWHERE!DAMN.
i hope DUTERTE can solve this. AFTER ALL, HE PROMISED THIS IN HIS CAMPAIGN.

Namamaga ateng.

The nerve!

Baka mapag kamalan at sabihing fake news na naman ire. The opposition by whatever means available in their disposal is bent on destroying the program of governance of the present administration. Deny and destroy and pay as much as they could to spin the wrong information in as many fronts that they can reach.
But ordinary Filipinos have grown to deflect all the disinformation campaigns and are no longer gullible to slanted press releases. PRRD's approval rating belies all these disinformation and smear campaign targeted against him. Thank you Sir President for staying firm and steadfast for whatever you beleive is good for the Filipino!

Transparency is a very expensive, almost non-existing commodity these days.
But PRRD, not mindful of the deluge of backlash coming from the opposition, proceeded just the same in his aim of achieving ultimate transparency in his programme of governance.
Naturally, those with vested self-interests and profit motives and will oppose this measure by any means available in their disposal. They have everything to lose now especially because of unwanted skeletons to hide in their closets.
The days of manipulators and the mapangapi in our midst will slowly come to end. And the capitalists and the oligarchs among them will be hit hard where this new measure will bite the most. Abangan.
In a while, the oppositionists and their stooges will attack this thread like a swarm of flies does to a rotting carcass. We can smell them now closer by.

President Duterte to sign EO transfering all gov’t information and public services to DICT
MANILA, Philippines — Information and Communications Technology Secretary Rodolfo Salalima revealed that President Rodrigo Duterte is set to sign the executive order for the establishment of the National Government Portal.
This aims to order other government agencies to transfer their information and public services to the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) for the one-stop shop of all online government services.
“As we have now asked the President to issue an executive order urging all departments of government to transfer, to migrate all their data, systems and processes to DICT so people can avail the online service of various agencies of the government like the NBI, and the Statistics Office,” Sec. Salalima said.
The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has already transferred its information to DICT and in six months’ time, the department is hoping other government agencies will do the same.
Meanwhile, DICT has revealed that telecommunication companies are given until September 16 to improve their internet services.
The government also has already invited big telecom companies to the country to enhance completion between internet service providers.
“I told National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), get a third party operator with a big local component and a very big partner from abroad because they have to have deep pockets to compete with the duopoly. So open po tayo (we are open),” Salalima said.
To attain this, the process of establishing additional cell sites is being simplified.
“Other local government agencies has to act on the permits ng mga (of the) Telcos for the purpose of installing and operating the services,” Salalima added. – Rosalie Coz | UNTV News and Rescue
