Medical Technology is not in anyway pertains to medications or Pharmaceuticals.
The only thing related to Med Tech is Toxicology or the study of poisons which is a minor subject.
Med tech analyzes poop, phlegm, blood, urine and other body fluids etc for abnormalities.
They also detect bacteria, fungi and parasites.

Sorry you didn't get the humor of the TS which is somehow a form of sarcasm. Anyway, you're correct. I have about a couple dozens of clicnical laboratory scientists I consider mostly close friends and some who are acquiantances. Thanks anyway!

no offense meant, but i beg to differ.

he actually got the humor out of the sarcasm that the TS posted. otherwise, he wouldn't have pointed out the error/mistake that he noticed. he discussed the scope that medical technology covers & what med techs do in order to point out that in relation to what was written on the pic posted by the TS, pharmacy should be the one attributed to drug pushers and not medical technology.

You're correct that the TS should have listed the profession "pharmacist" as "drug pushers" and "medical technologists" as maybe "couriers or 'taga-deliver' of biological specimens." Simply because medical technologist do not handle drugs except when processing cultures of diseases. What I first sensed when he described the true function of a medical technologist which most of us know anyway is that he didn't get the sarcasm. This thread I hope is just a form of sarcastic "what if's" and let's not make it too complicated. It's good to laugh sometimes. :-*
