Pop superstar Justin Timberlake once said “The worst thing about being famous is the invasion of your privacy”. What is it about fame that makes many people including you, want to become famous?




Rules:

1. Everyone is allowed to join and answer as long as they use English language.

Thank God it's Friday. From now on, I will resume Pageant Questions every Friday night and in holidays. To those who sent me PMs and requested to be part of our judging panel, please be online tomorrow. I will strive for this game to have transparency and fairness in every single way.

To the forumers who will participate, this is not and will never be an essay-writing contest. As what Sir XAMURAI said, just answer honestly. You can't answer a whole essay on a beauty pageant. Good Evening! Being famous has a lot of advantages and disadvantages. I have to admit that the feeling of being popular is overwhelming seeing these people supporting you. There's a saying that you can't please anybody that's why some people try to invade your privacy and try to put you down. For some people out there, fame is everything. I believe that if you have the fame, it can help you to make a big contribution on solving some simple issues in today's society because people love to listen to you because they look up to you. Having said that, I want to be famous to give back and inspire more people telling them that if you really have the passion in whatever you do, you will definitely succeed on it. Thank you so much!

I think the thing about popularity is that you feel that you are appreciated and respected by most people. Every person wants to feel appreciated and respected so being famous is one of the many ways of being those. But we must also remember that popularity does not concretely promise appreciation and respect. Some are popular because of wrong publicity which made them bullied and hated instead.

In the end, popularity does not guarantee happiness if you are popularized for wrong reasons but it can make one feel important and confident about themselves if they are loved for who they are.

I dont want to be a hypocrite by saying that Its money that lures me to become famous. Thats the goal most of us have in mind whenever we dream of achieving fame, aside of course from the pride. Not all famous become rich yet not all rich are famous but I it is my dream to be both famous 'and rich.

Being famous puts us in the same position with those people who have influenced us in many different ways. I guess, we feel that we can also influence others by being famous, that's why a lot of us are attracted into fame.

To be honest FOR ME it is not about being FAMOUS, that is just something that comes with my career. I love acting, it's my passion and it is what I love to do. I love being on stage and playing another character that is totally different than who I am. I mean there are certain individuals that want to be famous because of money that comes from it, but for me it is not the case. I mean yes I love money, but more than that I love the art that is acting. As for the comment that Justin Timberlake stated I understand where he's coming from, but I disagree with him. Once you opened your door to media, by selling your personal life to magazines or TV interviews, be prepare for its consequences.Thank you.

Basically, I think a person wants to become famous to use his fame to spread his faith knowing that many people will look up to his thinking.
That's the same reason i have in mind if i ever wanted to become famous.

By being famous on a Positive note would give me the chance to speak up about my advocacy towards Family values, good education and world peace. I want to be famous in five reasons.First,to prove all my haters that they are wrong. Second,to show my hidden talents,skills and abilities. Fame is a bittersweet opportunity that so many people hunger for. For me, the reason I would want to be famous is to use my positive influence and talents to help mold pop culture, be a role model and prove to everyone who has a dream that through hard work and determination, one can achieve their goals. Being an actor, singer, or whatever it is that makes me appealing to the public eye, I would have so many different opportunities to influence a generation that is swayed by so many negative role models. There's always a price to being famous, but at the end of the day, it's how you use that fame that makes all the difference.

What the social media show about the life of the rich and famous, I think is the reason why people want to be famous. Who does not want to have the luxury in life? But personally I would like to be famous because I want to see every corners of the world and experience the diverse cultures.

Well aside from money and fortune, that is synonymous to being famous I guess someone who's ordinary like me want to be one because I wanted to experience what are the best things life can offer. Being famous will give me a way to be able to access a different degree of living, I can go ahead and do things normal people can't afford to do in their day to day living. People have various reasons for wanting to be famous and I could only speak for myself.

We live at a time where the need for inspiration has never been as pivotal. In a generation where values are traded for momentary gratification and where negative influences easily perpetuate, I believe that the world is in dire need of people who will be sources of hope and positive aspirations. If I'll be given the platform through which I can be an inspiration to people by stirring hope in them and restoring faith in the inherent good of every person, and if that platform would come by way of fame, then I would be more than honored to be so. I've got just one life to live, now I owe it to myself to live it meaningfully.

when i was younger i always dreamt of becoming famous for back then i thought that being famous means power and dat i can just do about anything. But then when i was growing up i have realized that being famous comes with great responsibilities as well... As per spiderman.. Hehehe...as of now, being famous is not really what i aspire for but rather i aspire to inspire people to be the best that they can be and Joining pageants such as this is one way of inspiring young minds.
