They replied to me from TALAT MODEL MANGAMENT and they said that in 2013 or 2014 they will hold Miss Iraq pageant in BAGHDAD again if it is really secure.
That's stupid! Here in north-iraq we have the best security and everyone is SECURE. Why can't they hold the pageant here? Or should they hold it in the capital BAGHDAD?

I don't know why they choosed Tanzania this year. Last year they held it in Dubai and I thought it was a good idea becouse it's near Iraq and it would be easier to compete there.

I know Iraq is ethnically and religiously diverse, but given the names and especially the portfolios of these girls, I doubt that any of them has ever set foot in Iraq or speaks Arabic / Kurdish.

Just like Lebanese, Iraqis are everywhere across the world since olden times.

I know that half of this girls don't even live in Iraq. Most of them are jewish iraqi,assyrians and arabs who lives outside the country, and yes they can talk in arabic but what I know that Erica can't speak a proper arabic coz her mum is german.

Only people from small vilages thinks in an very cultural way and they say that women should not show themselfs in swimsuit. But In bigger citys everyone wears what they like and if we had beaches in Iraq we would be more than happy´to wear swimsuits..
