Among the 22 contestants, this year, none is a contestant from the Miss France circuit. This is the first time this happens, two contestants came from the Miss France circuit 2 years ago and one contestant came from the Miss France circuit 1 year ago. Miss Élégance France seems to detach more and more from Miss France. However, the pageant is not gaining popularity in France.

I saw all the official and unofficial photos of the contestants and here is my final ranking:

Champagne-Ardenne, Franche-Comté, Gascogne, Midi-Pyrénées and Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur

4th runner-up: Rhône-Alpes
3rd runner-up: Réunion
2nd runner-up: Lorraine
1st runner-up: Nord-Pas-de-Calais
MISS ÉLÉGANCE FRANCE 2023: ALSACE

I must say that the batch is very weak. Miss Élégance France struggles to recruit quality women, I find that even Miss International France is doing better. Like every year, I regret that it is no longer the Miss France Organization that has the license. Marion Navarro (Franche-Comté) or Axelle René (Martinique) would have done an excellent job, especially Axelle who has a school curriculum related to ecology.

Among the 22 contestants here, only 1 has the level for Miss Earth: Miss Élégance Alsace. Actually, she would be Top 5 material at Miss France. She eclipses all the other contestants here. However, knowing the strange tastes of this committee and its judges, I am not sure that she will win and might even clap. She reminds me of Aya Kadjo, Miss Élégance Alsace 2019, who didn't even place in Miss Élégance France 2020 when she was a big favourite. Aya then went to represent Côte d'Ivoire, her country of origin, at Miss Earth 2020 and she placed in the Top 20 while the Miss Élégance France who had therefore beaten her clapped. LOL If she is crowned, I think she can finally bring France back to the semi-finalists at Miss Earth and even why not a Top 8? Another acceptable choice would be Miss Élégance Nord-Pas-de-Calais. This region (which is a powerhouse at Miss France) has often sent good contestants here too and this year could be the right one for them. However, I'm not sure she would have an impact at Miss Earth. Finally, I think Miss Élégance Lorraine can also win and she would be a decent winner. The problem with her is that she changes a lot from one photo to another so I have a hard time really judging her. Sometimes I find her superb and sometimes I find her very average. I'm not sure if she will place in Miss Earth either. I'm not a fan of Gascogne and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur (even if these two are in my Top 10) but I also think that they also have their chances of winning, and even Rhône-Alpes.

We'll see the result tonight but I'm crossing my fingers for Miss Élégance Alsace!

The beautiful Charlotte Brique, who represented Franche-Comte, won the title of Miss Elegance France 2023. Felicitations! She is expected to represent France in Miss Earth 2023.
